Early TLC
Our foundation pathway for children at the earliest stages of development, designed for those who are not yet ready for structured group learning or traditional academic approaches.
Early TLC focuses on building the core skills that underpin all future learning, including engagement, communication, attention, regulation and early interaction. Sessions are carefully designed around each child, using sensory, hands-on and play-based experiences to encourage curiosity, connection and purposeful exploration.
We place a strong emphasis on developing shared attention, cause and effect, early problem solving and meaningful communication in whatever form that may take. Many of the children within this pathway are still developing their ability to engage with others and the world around them, and our approach meets them at this stage with patience, consistency and care.
Progress is not measured through formal outcomes, but through increased engagement, independence and a growing readiness to learn. As children begin to build these foundations, they are gently supported in transitioning into other TLC pathways, where their learning can continue to develop in a way that feels natural and achievable.
This pathway provides a calm, responsive starting point, allowing children to develop at their own pace while building the confidence and skills needed for their next steps.
